Check category fit, useful photos, sizing, price context, shipping weight, clear labeling, and your own reason for saving. Six or seven points makes a strong shortlist candidate; anything lower needs more evidence or removal.
The seven-point checklist
- The item belongs in the category I am browsing.
- Photos show the details that matter for this product type.
- Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed.
- Price makes sense beside similar finds.
- Shipping weight does not ruin the value.
- The row is not just hype or a vague label.
- I can explain why I would save this find.
Give a point only when the row or live destination gives you a concrete answer. “Looks good” is not the same as useful evidence.
Score your row
| Score | Reading | Next move |
|---|---|---|
| 6–7 | Strong shortlist candidate | Confirm the remaining unknowns on the live page. |
| 4–5 | Research more | Search for the specific missing evidence. |
| 2–3 | Weak row | Compare with a clearer row before continuing. |
| 0–1 | Remove for now | Do not let the label or low price carry it. |
QC photos by category
A Tangbuy QC check should answer product-specific questions. A generic front photo is rarely enough.
Shoes and sneakers
Look for both sides, heel, toe shape, sole, inside label, and an insole measurement when fit is uncertain.
Hoodies and jackets
Look for front and back, cuffs, seams, closures, lining or interior fabric, and a measuring tape across key dimensions.
Bags
Look for all sides, base, handles, closures, hardware, lining, compartments, and a clear size reference.
Watches and accessories
Look for close-ups, fasteners, surface finish, scale, case or item dimensions, and any fragile area that packaging must protect.
A photo-search tool is only a route to images. Make sure the photos match the current item, option, and listing before using them in your comparison.
Good row example
A pair of casual shoes with comparable evidence
The row is in the right category. Photos show side profiles, heel, sole, and toe shape. A size note includes an insole measurement. The price and estimated boxed weight can be compared with two similar rows. The source link remains relevant.
Still missing: the live page needs a final option and availability check. That unknown is specific and manageable.
Weak row example
A jacket described only as a “top pick”
The category is recognizable and one front photo is visible. There are no garment measurements, interior views, fabric notes, weight clues, or meaningful reason for the label. The price is isolated from similar jackets.
Decision: remove it for now. Searching the same category is more efficient than repairing a row with five missing checks.
The one-sentence save rule
If you cannot fill those three blanks with concrete details, the row is not ready.
What to do next
A strong score does not guarantee product quality, seller behavior, price, shipping, or support. It means the row has enough information to justify a closer external review.
